This walk offers the hikers the opportunity to cross a wide green area of the indigenous Laurissilva forest. This ancient forest was marked by Unesco as a Natural World Heritage due to the perfect state of conservation and development.
At the end of this trail you will find a small volcanic crater classified as a Rest and Quiet Reserve by the Madeira Natural Park.
