This levada walk is a moderate difficulty trail with a distance of 6.5 km (+ 6.5 km return and starts at Queimadas Forest Park, the path is along an historic 'levada', built in the 18th century, to the irrigate the farmlands. Along this walk you will pass through four tunnels carved in the rock. The Water fall called Caldeirão Verde has an altitude of about 100 m and forms a lake.
